Learning to play a drum set is a combination of mental focus and physical coordination. At first what may seem like a daunting task - syncopating your hands and feet independently - soon becomes second nature.
As the “heartbeat” of the band, the drummer’s role is to keep the tempo consistent, provide the energetic backbone, and outline the rhythmic structure of the song with style.
